The Ishbane Conspiracy
|
Written by Randy Alcorn and his daughters Angela and Karina, this is a story about teenagers, but is not written only for a teenage audience. Anyone who has an interest in the state of American youth would do well to read this novel. It is a brilliantly drawn story of four friends Jillian, Brittany, Ian, and Rob who start their first year of college with high expectations, but face many life changes along the way. The stakes are high as the spiritual battle over these four precious souls is revealed for all to see through the correspondence between two demons in charge of bringing these young people to the Abyss. It deals with pertinent issues such as teenage fascination with the Occult, struggles against lust and bulimia, suicidal tendencies, the need for parental involvement in children's lives, and even the weakness of the "strong" Christian. Readers can learn a lot about the deceptiveness of the Enemy and the graciousness of God who lovingly draws even young people to Himself. Bible teachers, parents, youth pastors, and high school and college students themselves will all benefit from reading this excellent novel!
