I just got married to a wonderful man named Chris who loves the Lord, plays the sax, and even wrote a song for our wedding! :-)

My hobbies are studying Russian, sewing, reading, writing, and singing -- and when I have time, working on the computer (and on this website).

I listen to many different styles of music, but I prefer to feed my soul with only uplifting Christian lyrics. To my roommates' great consternation, one of my favorite songs is "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" by Petra.

My favorite Bible verses are Isaiah 49:15-16:
"I will not forget you! See, I have
engraved you on the palms of my hands."
and 2 Timothy 2:23:
"Don't have anything to do with
foolish and stupid arguments."

I am currently working toward a BA in Linguistics at Cal State Long Beach (with a minor in Russian). I don't know what I will do with my degree when I'm finished, but I'm hoping to be a stay-at-home wife and mother. :-)

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?'
And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'"

The verse God gave me for 2005 is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says:
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."This is going to be a year of changes, and through them all, I want to remember the Lord, trust in Him, and walk in the ways He has ordained.
